the chef in me speaks


wine
infuse the taste
wine and sweet chiffons
truffles and nice wine
infuse the taste
mix it up slowly
let the red meat cook under light heated flames
let the slinky taste of olive oil
run over as it trickles smooth
thats the artistry of food
rich, glorious and fine in dining.


i wish i could get a better poem done up on this but oh well. maybe some other day.
some restaurants are so glam in style, sophistication and the hip, happening factor. concepts concepts my dear. jamie oliver inspires me? not. british documentaries are so boring. behind the prettiness of the kitchen studio the silence of editing and cinematography screams for something more hollywood.

how how the disjointed glass of white wine
simmered down my throat
the light weight of strawberries
in russia in greece
frankfurt or italy
its still new york city
where i wanna be.
