Amazing or what...that the day God died. you know the reason behind that? So that we can come before our God and actually walk with him, yeah..wow factor..have a relationship with the Almighty Great and awesome creator, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He died for us, He paid the wages for our sins. And the wages is death. You really want to know why God did that? Because He loves us so much. Even that puzzles me sometimes, why we unworthy creatures would be so blessed with such deep, uncomprehensive love from the Father. But did u know that at the beginning of the world God made man to be rulers to have dominion over the whole earth under the authority of God Himself? Whoa factor again. But choice. man made a choice to seek his own selfish desires, that first man, Adam, sinned by eating the fruit of the ONE tree God told Him not to. you see the way Satan deceives is this, he entices and lures weaving threads of lie upon lie to create a whole web of deceit of reasons to sin .. and in the end its all for NOTHING. just like bedazzled, u know that movie? its all for nothing people. NOTHING. look at the disasterous error made by one man that led to that fall of all mankind from adam afterwards? But God loves us so much that so that while we were still sinners, unworthy, He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. That's how much He loves us..
SO that's what i want you all to know. That God loves you.
His love is deeper than the deepest ocean
wider than the widest ocean
And there is nothing in this world that can ever change His love
.....amazing. His love truly remains for all generations. That is why today even I am reached by his outstretched arm of wonderful and glorious love. That's the choice you have to make too you know...to reject or accept God's love for you and in so doing accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour of your life. This indeed is a matter of life or death. Its one decision you have to make, just make sure you make the right one. the consequences of rejecting the saviour is eternal seperation from the God of love, hell.

THE RICH MAN AND LAZARUS

There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogscame and licked his sores.
The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side( Abraham is the father of all nations to whom God promised him his descendants would be numerous)The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far awar, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him,
'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'
He answered, ' Then i beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.
Abraham replied, "They have Moses and the Prophets, let them listen to them"
"No, father Abraham," he said, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent."
He said to him, "if they do not listen to Moses(think Prince of Egypt) and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead."

There is also the hope that even today Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He is resurrecting in me the areas that died that day. He has promised to be life to me as I believe in Him. Though I still don’t understand what death will be like, I can’t say that I fear death as an enemy. It is now toothless and under submission to Christ. It has lost all victory over me. Every moment as I walk toward it, I see it shrinking back in fear. Death does not fear me but fears what Christ shall do in me as I pass from life to death to life again.

in psalm 89:47-48, David cries

In Isiah 40:6 we understand that
" All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field."

Then in Job 21:16 it is mentioned
"But their(the wealthy and rich and famous) prosperity is not in their own hands"

"They said to God 'leave us alone! What can the Almighty do to us?' YET IT WAS HE who filled their houses with good things, so i stand aloof from the counsel of the wicked."

Throughout Ecclesiastes, the author drones on about the meaningless of life,.. dont we all sometimes? well thank God Jesus fills this void halleluiah..
In Ecclesiastes 11:9-10
"Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for these things God will bring you to judgement. So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigour are meaningless."

In wrapping up, the conclusion of the wise writer from Ecclesiastes leaves us with..
this passage from Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
"FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN. FOR GOD WILL BRING EVERY DEED INTO JUDGEMENT, INCLUDING EVERY HIDDEN THING, WHETHER GOOD OR EVIL."
by the way, Jesus provides an abudance of life. if only we would believe and receive. How great is love is. It is uncomprehensible. i mean just imagine, God came to earth and lived as one of us . amazing or wad? that happened 2000 years ago.
'For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that whoever believes shall not die but have eternal life' John 3verse16
the world's notion of glory and glamour. is as nothing before God.
