business from nothing
the wall looms
towering over a lanky
skinny teenage dude
his surname is taylor
one, from the brandywells.
tell me if this makes no sense
int. after-party.world trade conference.(the skeptic makes a move, eyes silently observing the crowd. he finally decides to linger and talk with his uncle, who was well into his thirties and who, he wouldnt say, an accomplished business man yet.)conversation:
boy :u think its possible for this.
well this business venture to you know, to take place
man: well yes. anything is possible. however it would be better if u had the experience in that particular industry and had contacts. people, networking.
boy: (sighs) yeah. ive heard tt one(piece of advice) millions of times before.
but say you start off with zero contacts in the business arena, zero..well not really, umm say a tad of experience. how do u think the business would fair.
man: its hard to say. u see, luck always plays a part too. and it is pretty essential to know your market well enough. and contacts.. my boy. seriously, itd be really hard to get far without networking in the world of business.
boy: why do u say so. i mean yeahh sure i agree with u on that full on. but im sure u can graft in new networks and establish contacts as u go along with the new business venture cant u. and as for experience. (pauses)
man:hmmm. exactly, tts what u came here for then, isnt it. this party is a good start in itself. come, i'll introduce u to my associate____
okay, basically what i wrote up was. well u can say, if u wanna be honest, a whole LOT OF CRAP. hahahha, yeah. from an inexperienced teenager working and meddling with the pipelines of business infrastructures i barely know anything about. but basically, speaking from the perspective of having no contacts or experience whatsoever. without inheriting wealth or having a heriderity line of business saavy parents, i assume my career will be marked off as one purely based on entrepreneureship. and yes, my philosophy, as of now. is tt anything in life is possible. if there is a will, there is, bound to be a way. and so out of nothing, i scrape and try to work my ways around, starting from scratch, from small, humble begginings to whatever my years of life will attain for me. so there.
climb the fence
see the world
the jungle out there
is massive and huge
a small fragment like you
might easily disappear
like a vapour.
but it is also a place
where fates interlink
and form
ripples of success
from failures turned inside out.
im ready for the adventure
ive got some luggage packed up.
im inspired by the tactics of the apprentice
whereby each new challenge is sprung on
without the neccesity of experience or contacts
in those particular industries
